Additional Program Details

COST:
- $50/player for "Beginner" Teams (T-Ball, Coach Pitch, D1 (8U).
- $75/player for "Intermediate" Teams (D2 (9U), C-Jr (10U) and C-Sr (11U).
- Children of Head Coaches play FREE! Other discounts are available.
ELIGIBILITY: All ages listed above are based on a birthday on/before May 1st of the program year. (Ex. A player must be age 8 or younger as of May 1 to play on a D1 (8U) team.)
SCHEDULE: Our season runs from April to June each year. All practices & games will take place on consistent days & times, so you can plan ahead. A detailed schedule will be provided to parents/caregivers once all registered players have been organized into teams.
LOCATION: Practices are located in the College Hill / North College Hill area, with no more than a 20-minute drive for participating families. All games will be held in the greater Cincinnati area. NO out of town travel is required!
COACHES: Volunteer Coaches are needed! No experience necessary - we will train you! If you are able to serve as Head Coach for a team, your child will participate for free. Other discounts may apply for Team Helpers or other volunteer positions. A background check is required. Please send us a letter of interest, including your availability.

Beginning in 2026, North Hills Baseball, a Cincinnati Knothole Baseball league, has partnered with Cincinnati Reds "Little Sluggers" program to offer enhanced recreational play experiences for players up to age 8! North Hills Baseball will form teams based on age & skill level, and register full teams for Little Sluggers.

T-ball Division: Ages 5-6 years old
Coach Pitch Division: Ages 6-7 years old
D1-8U: Ages 6-8 years old
Registration Fee: $50/player
Schedule: Practices will begin in April, in the College Hill / North College Hill area, and will last about 1.5 hours. Games will be held once a week, on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays, beginning in early May and continuing through the end of June.

Q: Are there any additional participation fees that are required, other than the team registration fee?

No! The registration fee indicated for each team includes field & umpire fees, equipment maintenance, and uniforms.

Q: May I drop my child off and run errands during practices or games?

No. Participation in North Hills Baseball program is not a "drop off" activity. A parent/guardian or another responsible adult over the age of 18 must remain onsite during all practices and games.

Q: What is the time commitment for practices and games?

Practices run about 1.5 hours. Games may be slightly longer. Driving time to & from practices and games will depend on the location, all of which will be within the Cincinnati area. NO out of town travel is required.
